Chicago, November 6, 2017 – A 137 US Ton Bliss stamping press with a Bliss coil feed system: A complete Bliss production line will be demonstrated at Fabtech 2017 in Chicago. Visitors of the company’s booth A5031 in McCormick Place will also witness live stamping of a part on the press line.
The new Bliss C1-125 Single Point Gap Frame mechanical press features Allen-Bradley controls, a fast acting hydraulic overload system, Ross valves, Siemens drive motor, Graco lubrication, an OMPI clutch, flywheel brake and many other standard features.
The standard configuration is capable of 30 to 60 strokes per minute. Thanks to the high rigidity steel welded frame, deflection is minimized. At Fabtech, the C frame press is paired with a new Bliss model B300 compact coil feed system for a width of up to 300 millimeters.
Bliss press models range from 60 to 630 metric tons and are available in Single Point Gap Frame, Two Point Gap Frame, and Straight Side design. Spare parts and services are offered by local Bliss Dealers and Schuler.
Live customer demonstrations can be viewed at Schuler facilities in Hastings, MI, Canton, MI and Dublin, GA. Stocked presses are available for sale and immediate shipment.
At last year’s Fabtech trade show in Las Vegas, a 250 metric ton machine was presented, the first new Bliss press in decades. Bliss, founded in 1857, is well-known in North America for reliable and proven systems; thousands of presses are still in production today. The new series also offer a competitive price / performance ratio.
